HUGINN
Focused light, with the glare engineered out
Huginn
Huginn is a slim linear pendant built around precision Dark Light optics — focused, directional illumination held to UGR<19, so you get the light without the glare. The optical core does the technical work; the housing, cast by hand in the material of your choosing, makes it something worth looking at.
In Norse myth, Huginn is Odin's raven of thought, sent out each day to observe the world and bring it back into focus. That's what this light is built to do — direct attention, sharpen a space, work without glare.

DESIGN ELEMENTS
Housing
The housing is where Huginn becomes a Light by Raven piece. Each one is cast by hand in our London workshop, so the surface, weight and finish are particular to that piece rather than extruded to a standard. The optics stay concealed inside; what you see and touch is the material wrapped around a precise, low-glare source. Form and finish are both specified to the project.
